Our monthly Full Moon Yin and Sound sessions are the perfect way to unravel, to relax & unwind. Yin Yoga and Sound Healing are two different class types that we have combined into one blissful experience.

The full moon is often associated with various healing properties in different cultures and belief systems. Here are some key aspects of its perceived healing power:

  1. Emotional Release: Many people believe that the full moon amplifies emotions, making it a good time for releasing pent-up feelings. Rituals during the full moon often focus on letting go of negativity, forgiveness, and emotional healing.
  2. Energy and Motivation: The full moon is thought to provide a boost in energy and motivation. Some people use this time to set intentions for personal growth and transformation, believing that the moon’s energy can help propel them forward.
  3. Spiritual Connection: The full moon is considered a powerful time for spiritual practices, including meditation, moon ceremonies, and rituals. Some believe that the heightened energy can enhance intuition and spiritual awareness.
  4. Natural Cycles: The full moon marks the culmination of the lunar cycle, symbolizing completion and fulfillment. This can encourage reflection on personal achievements and growth, bringing a sense of closure and healing.
  5. Sleep and Well-being: Some studies suggest that the full moon may affect sleep patterns, leading to disrupted sleep for some individuals, while others claim improved moods and well-being during this phase. A good approach is to utilize the full moon’s energy for self-care practices.

What is Yin and Sound?

In the first part of the class you’ll be guided by Dee into deep Yin stretches to increase flexibility and mobility whilst training the mind and body to surrender to the present moment.

During the sound healing experience with Amy, she’ll aim to relax the mind and body using a variety of instruments such as crystal singing bowls, brass bowls, gongs and chimes.
